This year's Payments Summit brings together world-leading experts to discuss recent developments and forecast trends that will shape the digital economy and the payments landscape of the future. Alexandre Zancani, Executive Committee member, and Rubens Fogli, Head of Payments at Itaú Unibanco, the most valuable bank in Latin America, will walk the audience through the future of cards amidst the rapid rise of e-wallets, instant payments, and super apps – how will cards position themselves in the payments industry and the digital economy in light of these trends? In the same line, Mastercard's executives Kiki Del Valle, EVP of Market Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, and Gaurang Shah, Head of Products EMEA, will conduct a discussion on how cards can shape the future of payments by integrating with alternative payments, focusing on Latin America and Africa's perspectives.

Carlos Brandt, Head of Pix Management and Operation at the Central Bank of Brazil, speaks about what's next for the Brazilian instant payment system that is less than three-years old and already used by more than 75% of the population. The roadmap includes features like recurrency, that will revolutionize businesses like the ones that work with subscription models, for instance.

Global technology companies will be sharing insights into their approaches for rising markets: how they are exploring specific growth strategies, user experience enhancements, and tailored roadmap plans. They will also dive into how payments, often viewed as mere transactions, are effectively impacting their businesses and revolutionizing the digital economy in highly innovative sectors like online games, ride hailing, streaming, and SaaS.
