Forbes China awards EBANX as one of the 30 pioneering brands in international expansion

The global payments service provider was the only Latin American company on the list and was recognized for its localized strategies and streamlined operations serving global merchants

Sean Yu, Vice President of Merchant Success for APAC at EBANX, received the Forbes award at a ceremony held in Xiamen, China, on November 21st. “The recognition of EBANX in Asia-Pacific, a global hub for payment solutions, reinforces Latin America’s potential for innovation and growth in this market,” said Yu. He also participated in a panel alongside executives from companies such as Alibaba Cloud and YQN Logistics Group. During the event, Yu shared valuable insights on Latin America's potential for APAC digital commerce businesses and emphasized the importance of having a solid payment strategy to succeed in rising markets.

EBANX processes payments in 29 countries worldwide, 17 of which are in Latin America. “The region has a young and increasingly digital population, and this growth has been accompanied by innovative payment methods, such as Pix in Brazil and PSE in Colombia,” explained the VP at EBANX. According to data from Payments and Commerce Market Intelligence (PCMI), analyzed by EBANX, the digital market in Latin America is expected to surpass US$ 1 trillion by 2027, with an annual growth rate of 20%. “EBANX fits into this ecosystem with localized and robust payment strategies tailored to the characteristics of merchants and markets,” said Yu.
