The global technology company is listed as one of the world’s leading companies shaping the future of international payments and digital commerce
CURITIBA, BRAZIL, May 28, 2026 – EBANX, a global technology company specializing in payment services for emerging markets, has been recognized by FXC Intelligence, a leading provider of data and intelligence about cross-border payments, as one of the Top 100 Cross-Border Payment Companies of 2026.
Published annually by FXC Intelligence, the list highlights the most influential companies shaping the global cross-border payments industry across segments such as payment processors, remittances, banks, neobanks, blockchain, and stablecoin providers. The official announcement is made in partnership with Money20/20 Europe, the major fintech and financial services event taking place from June 2 to 4 in Amsterdam.
Founded in Brazil in 2012, EBANX provides payment technology solutions that connect more than 500 global companies with customers across emerging markets in Latin America, Africa, and Asia, processing over 3.5 million transactions per day. This is the sixth consecutive year EBANX has been included in the FXC Intelligence list.
“EBANX has built a strong reputation as a specialist in enabling global merchants to access emerging markets, with a platform that spans Latin America and a growing presence across Asia and Africa,” said Daniel Webber, CEO and Founder of FXC Intelligence. “Its continued expansion into new geographies and the depth of its local payment expertise make it an increasingly important player in the global cross-border payments landscape. EBANX's ambition and track record make it a well-earned inclusion in FXC Intelligence's 2026 Cross-Border Payments 100,” he added.
“EBANX spotted, a long time ago, the potential of emerging economies for cross-border commerce and learned how to address the complexity of those markets,” said Marie-Elise Droga, CRO of EBANX. “For global merchants, localized payment experiences and strong regional expertise have become essential for international growth.”
According to FXC Intelligence’s latest report, the total addressable cross-border payments market reached USD 208 trillion in 2025. The report also estimates that the global cross-border revenue pool totaled USD 625 billion last year.
In 2025, EBANX achieved a record 48% increase in its Total Payment Volume (TPV). Following this milestone, in 2026, EBANX announced the establishment of a new APAC Headquarters in Singapore and the expansion of its operations into Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Turkey. Additionally, EBANX strengthened its executive leadership team with new appointments across technology, human resources, and compliance.
